Vis-à-Vis

Description:

This old book contains two small grimoire spells of unparalleled value. A sheaf of additional pages in the back of the book contains lab notes; someone has created a group-target version based on the two grimoire spells.

Changing the Nature of Vis (Grimoire: Muto Vim 5 and 10 versions)
R: Touch, D: Momentary, T: Individual, Ritual

By casting this spell, you change the Art associated with a target pawn of vis. You must perform this ritual in an environment associated with the Art whose aspect the target vis is to assume. (Use the Study Bonus Examples table on page 49 for suitable environments, assuming a necessary intensity of about 15 on the chart.) Vis associated with a Form cannot be converted into vis associated with a Technique, and vice versa. The level 10 version of this ritual will convert vis freely between Form and Technique. (Base 15, + 1 Touch, – 3 Optimized) or (Base 20, + 1 Touch, – 3 Optimized)

Changing Rooks of Vis (Lab Notes: Muto Vim 20)
R: Touch, D: Momentary, T: Group, Ritual

By casting this spell, you change the Art associated with up to 10 pawns of vis. You must perform this ritual in an environment associated with the Art whose aspect the target vis is to assume. (Use the Study Bonus Examples table on page 49 for suitable environments, assuming a necessary intensity of about 15 on the chart.) The targeted vis must all be of the same Art to qualify as a “group”. Likewise, the vis produced from a single casting must all be of the same Art. (Base 20, + 1 Touch, + 2 Group, – 3 Optimized)
