A quick cannon ignores the first three points of protection granted by armor against targets within its first and second range increments.
As a burst weapon that fires four bullets at a time, a quick cannon adds + 6 to its Attack Total (+ 2 for each shot fired beyond the first).
Any hit a quick cannon inflicts that is completely Soaked by the target instead inflicts a level of Fatigue.
A character cannot fire a quick cannon and move in the same turn—the character’s normal movement time is used to brace and sight the weapon as a prerequisite for firing.
A quick cannon can instead be loaded with a 420-cartridge ammo belt (E-420). This requires an additional person to manage the feed and prevent jams; a two person weapon team can keep the quick cannon firing for over 100 rounds non-stop.
